Sideroxylin

CAS No. : 3122-87-0

Biological Activity:Sideroxylin is a C-methylated flavone isolated from Callistemon lanceolatus and exerts antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus. Sideroxylin inhibits ovarian cancer cell proliferation and induces apoptosis, causing DNA fragmentation, depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane, the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Research Area:Cancer|Infection

Targets:Reactive Oxygen Species|Bacterial|Apoptosis
